Safer South Africa Foundation is committed to effective partnerships and we actively seek opportunities to form alliances with local communities and other voluntary organisations. To achieve our strategic objectives and successful implementation of our programmes at local level, we partner with the following organisations to promote community safety and security:

  • South African Police Service (SAPS)
  • Metropolitan Police (in various city regions)
  • Department of Justice and Correctional Services

–  National Prosecution Services (NPA)

–  Correctional Services

  • National Traffic Police
  • Gauteng Department of Education (GDE)
  • South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC)

Through our strategic partnerships, local communities are afforded access to justice and improved engagements with law enforcement practitioners.  At municipal level, we also partner with diverse local formations, including traditional authorities, where communities participating in our programmes are based.
